Roy Williams gained his National Diploma in Design at Nottingham
College of Art and studied typography at Nottingham Technical College.
He has been a magazine art editor, and was a senior designer at
Reader's Digest before becoming a full-time freelance designer and
artist. Variety has been the keynote of his career, from cartoons
through shop display and character merchandising to computer-generated
artwork. One highlight was the commission to illustrate George
Harrison's autobiography, I ME MINE.
Roy is married to a writer; they have four grown children and have
lived in Bedfordshire, England, since 1967.
